The Solution

We developed a closed-loop system, one that not only enables the use of thinner plates but also repurposes discarded flexo plates into sustainable mounting solutions.

Through our innovative disposal and renewal process, we take used flexo plates, shred them, and transform them into high-performance, eco-friendly mounting materials. This solution allows us to:

- Eliminate landfill waste by recycling used plates

- Replace traditional PVC mounting materials with a sustainable alternative

- Fully optimize thinner plate technology with a mounting solution designed to enhance performance

With this system, sustainability isn’t just an option, it’s a smarter way forward that saves money, reduces waste, and maintains print quality.

Product Production Process

Our process takes obsolete plates and transforms them into eco-friendly plate mounting materials. Here’s how it works:

1. Collection - Plates are packed in Gaylords and shipped to our shredding facility.

2. Responsible Disposal & Repurposing - PVC and liquid polymer plates are shredded and packed into 30-yard roll-offs or super sacks for responsible disposal. The remaining PET-based plate material is shipped to our reduction facility, where it is processed into raw material for recycling and renewal.

3. Repurposing - The recovered PET material is processed by reducing the size of the particulate matter, and used to manufacture our sustainable plate mounting materials, eliminating the need for traditional PVC mounts.

Waste becomes innovation, reducing landfill disposal while enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of flexo printing.

Stage 01

Raw Material:

End of life plates before shredding.

Stage 02
