PVC has long been relied on for flexographic backing because it performs consistently, not because it supports sustainability goals. RENUflex™ replaces PVC with a circular material engineered to deliver predictable results without requiring changes to plate making, mounting, or press processes. Adoption is straightforward and low risk.
Provides the strength and flexibility needed to support consistent plate performance across repeat runs and varying press conditions.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing trade shop and converter workflows without retooling or process changes.
Support reliable ink transfer, image reproduction, and press performance without introducing variability.
RENUflex™ is produced using reclaimed flexographic plate material as part of Sustainable Solutionz’ closed loop system. Materials are recovered, reprocessed, and rebuilt into flexographic backing substrates engineered for repeat use within the print ecosystem. Circularity is built into the material itself, not added after production.
Composite: .042", .062", .072", .092", .102", .122", .152" (Green Foam on PET)
Substrate: .014" PET x 65" wide / Foam: 61.5" wide
*Roll lengths and SF/unit vary by composite thickness. Additional sizes and configurations may be available based on application requirements.
Trade shops producing and mounting flexographic plates. Corrugated converters running high volume print operations. Print environments seeking to eliminate PVC while maintaining consistent performance.
RENUflex™ operates as part of Sustainable Solutionz’ fully managed closed loop material system. End of life materials can be recovered and reintroduced into production, supporting long term material circulation across the print supply chain.
